“Chapter 1”
Introduction
Introduction
Some of our teachers today think only about the salary they will get in teaching, they don’t have the passion in teaching, yes, they teach the subject matter, but they don’t care about the behavior of their students. But there are also many teachers today that even there are many problems in the school, like lack of teaching materials in the laboratory, they use other materials to be resourceful. The researcher wants to say that teaching is not only about the salary they will get, it is about shaping the behavior of your students, for them to be better person in the future.
Background of the study
More than a hundred years ago, Edward Thorndike came up with theory about behavioral psychology. He, then, called it connectionism theory. He discussed that connectionism theory is about S(stimuli)-R(response) framework, he also said that learning is the result of stimuli and response when united. Until now, education students are studying different theory in education for them to use it in their actual teaching.
Teaching T.L.E is very difficult because there are so many materials you may need because T.L.E. is a application subject, you need to teach the proper steps in making projects.

Theoretical framework

These three laws are important in Thorndike’s connectionism theory. Law of effect is about the connection of stimulus and response. It is strengthened when there is a reward and weakened when the consequence is negative. Law of exercise tells that the more S-R is practice it will become stronger. Law of readiness the more readiness of the learners to response to the stimulus there is a higher possibility that the students learn.
Conceptual framework
The researcher chose connectionism theory because this theory has something that researcher need in her study. It is about the relationship between teacher and students, how the students learn, and what they need to learn. In law of effect it is about the reward and punishment when teacher discuss. Law of exercise is about the students learned from their teachers, the way they teach. Law of readiness, it is the interaction between teacher and students when they are in the classroom. If the stimulus (teacher) is weak there is a possibility that students will not learn. So teachers should have all the materials they need in teaching.
Statement of the problem
This study determined the difficulties of teachers in teaching technology and livelihood education subject in Kasarinlan High school.
This study answered the following:
1. What are the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. Subject.
2. Which of the strategies is most effective to use in teaching T.L.E. subject?
3. How important is the study about the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject?
4. When teachers encountered difficulties in teaching T.L.E. subject?
Significance of the study
This research is important and beneficial to the following:
Teachers This study will help teachers who is experiencing difficulties in
Teaching T.L.E. subject.
Future Researchers This study may give them information and some ideas to create
their own problem.

Scope and limitations of the study
This study focused on the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject in Kasarinlan high school.
Definition of terms
1. Connectionism theory- theory of Edward Thorndike that gave us the original S-R framework of behavioral psychology.
2. Law of effect- it stated that a connection between stimulus and response is strengthened when the consequence is positive and weaken if negative.
3. Law of exercise- it tells that that the more S-R bond is practiced the stronger it will become.
4. Law of readiness- states that the more readiness the learner to response, the stronger will be the bond between them.

Research Framework
Review of related Literature
Teaching is not a profession, you must be good in all things. You must know it and learn it for your students. These are the reasons why it is important to properly plan the different activities, processes and programs that must be applied and employed in a given class. Particularly it is important to focus on what are the different processes to be used in order to introduce a specific lesson. The researcher chose bloom’s taxonomy transfer of learning.
Blooms Taxonomy of Educational Learning
During the development of instructional objectives, presentation of instruction and evaluation of student performance, it is vital to remember that there are different levels or outcomes of learning, and the process of distinguishing among the different levels and outcomes of learning is vital. This is because of the fact that if the teacher are uninformed about the different levels of learning, more often than not, they will likely to focus on one level to the disadvantage of others (School of Education, n.d.).
Leadership is considered as one of the most important aspect of topic in training. This is because of the fact that it has a great impact on the relationship between the managers or the leaders and the subordinates. Thus, it can help to motivate or the other way around the learners. That is why it is important to consider the different leadership styles that can be applied in different situations. Leadership style is the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans as well as motivating people. The group of Kurt Lewin identifies three different styles of leadership which are: authoritarian or autocratic, participative or demographic and delegative or free reign (Clark 2008).
There is no doubt that transfer is an important factor in any education program. The ends of education cannot be achieved unless transfer occurs. Thus, transfer is considered as one of the most important factors in learning, and it cannot be taken for granted. This is because of the fact that the learning process is considered as continuous and connected to each other. Therefore, it is important for the teachers and instructors to focus on the past knowledge of the students, and then relate it to the current issue, topic or subject to be taken up. In terms of literature, language and writing is considered as connected, not only to the past knowledge regarding the structures and types of literature but also connected to the past and present experiences of the students, which they can be used in order to gain knowledge about what is going on in the real world.

Review of related studies

Synthesis
The researcher’s study will give more information about the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject. And give some answer in their problems in their teaching career.
Conceptual framework
The researcher own point of view in conducting investigation in the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject because she wants to get the side/idea of our teachers in schools. Because others think that they are perfect, the researcher wants to tell everybody that teachers also need materials to teach their students well. Also the students need to saw what is their teacher is talking about.

“Chapter 3”
Methodology
Research Method
The researcher chose descriptive method in her study to get the personal perspective of her respondents. She made a questionnaire and she will go to the school she chose and do her research about the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject.
Sampling techniques and respondents/subjects
The researcher chose teachers as her respondents because she wants to get the teachers side and also to help them in their teaching problems.
Setting locale of the study
The researcher chose Kasarinlan high school because that school is new and the teachers there are fresh Graduate from their respective alma mater.
Development of instrument and its validation
The researcher came up with her questions by thinking what are the common problems/difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject.
Data gathering procedure
The researcher sought permission by doing a formal letter asking or permission to the principal of Kasarinlan High school to conduct a study there. The questionnaires are distributed to the T.L.E. teachers in Kasarinlan high school.

“PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA”

Name of Teacher _________________________
Year level they handle ____________

Questions:
1. As a teacher what are the difficulties that you encountered in teaching T.L.E. subject?

2. What strategies can you use to minimize those difficulties?

3. Which of the strategies that you used is the most effective?

4. When does teachers encountered difficulties in teaching T.L.E. subject?

5. How important is the study about the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject?

The researcher used the questionnaire above to get the idea/side of teachers of T.L.E. in Kasarinlan High school.

-Mrs. Flores said that the most difficulty in teaching T.L.E. is the lack of materials because without materials the student will not understand the lesson. Her solution to that is she will use recycled materials when she is teaching. She also think that it is the most effective way to lessen the difficulty. She said that teachers encountered difficulties in many ways like when there is lack of materials and students are not cooperating.
-Mrs. Gratuito said the most difficulty in teaching T.L.E. is the lack of books because her field in T.L.E needs to use books. Her solution is to make hand outs of the lecture for her students, she think that it is the best way to lessen that difficulty. Like Mrs. Flores she said that teacher like her encountered difficulties when students are not cooperating and poverty.
-Mr. Villarey said that he is experiencing difficulty in teacher his subject because his students can’t buy their projects because they don’t have the money. That’s why he provides some materials to lessen the expenses of his students.

“Chapter 5”
“SUMMARY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS”

Summary
The researcher’s problem is the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject. And the researchers use some questions to get the side of teachers.
Findings

Conclusions
The researcher therefore concludes that teachers in T.L.E. have so many difficulties when they are teaching. Like lack of materials. Lack of books, few numbers of machines and poverty. The respondents of the researcher have many strategies to lessen those difficulties like they will provide the materials for their students. And to lessen the expenses to help also the students.
Recommendations
The researcher recommends to use also a cheapest material for their students so they can afford it. And use the World Wide Web to get their lecture there if they don’t have books to use. To the future researchers I may recommend to conduct similar study in a broader aspect.

Behaviorism
As a theory was primarily developed by B. F. Skinner. It loosely encompasses the work of people like Edward Thorndike, Tolman, Guthrie, and Hull. What characterizes these investigators are their underlying assumptions about the process of learning. In essence, three basic assumptions are held to be true. First, learning is manifested by a change in behavior. Second, the environment shapes behavior. And third, the principles of contiguity (how close in time two events must be for a bond to be formed) and reinforcement (any means of increasing the likelihood that an event will be repeated) are central to explaining the learning process. For behaviorism, learning is the acquisition of new behavior through conditioning.

Theoretical framework
There are two types of conditioning, first is classical conditioning where the behavior becomes a reflex response to stimulus. While the other type of conditioning is operant conditioning where there is reinforcement of the behavior by a reward or a punishment.

Conseptual framework
The study aim to answer and solve the different difficulties of teahers in teaching T.L.E. subject.

Statement of the problem
General problem: what are the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject?
Sub- problems:
1. what strategies can teachers use to minimize the difficulties in teaching?
2. Which of the strategies is most effective to use in teachibng T.L.E. subject?
3. How important is the study about the difficulties of teachers in teaching T.L.E. subject?
4. When teachers encountered difficulties in teaching T.L.E. subject?

Significance of the study
The significance of the researcher’s study is to help T.L.E. techers. Also to find solutions in their problemsin teaching T.L.E. subject.
Scope and limitations of the study
The researchers purpose in conducting study on the diffiulties of teachers in teahing T.L.E. subject is to help the teachers to solve their problems. The researcher choose to have a survey in tinejeros high school teachers, fourth year level, P.M session.

Definition of terms

Classical conditioning- the typical procedure for inducing classical conditioning involves presentations of a neutral stimulus along with a stimulus of some significance, the "unconditioned stimulus". The neutral stimulus could be any event that does not result in an overt behavioral response from the organism under investigation. Conversely, presentation of the significant stimulus necessarily evokes an innate, often reflexive, response.

Operant conditioning- is the use of a behavior's antecedent and/or its consequence to influence the occurrence and form of behavior.
